AddSecure is a leading European provider of secure IoT connectivity and end-to-end solutions. Within our Smart Alarms business, we provide secure solutions for monitored alarm transmission and reliable crisis communication, supporting organisations and emergency teams when it matters most.

We are now looking for a Product Director, Product Area Alarms to join us in a full-time, fixed-term position covering a parental leave. In this role, you will lead an international product team and drive the business performance, strategy, and lifecycle management of a key portfolio within alarm transceivers, transmission services, and user experience.

The role

This is a key leadership role where you will combine people leadership, portfolio ownership, and cross-functional collaboration in an international environment.

You will lead a team of Product Managers and work closely with colleagues across Product Management, R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Together, you will ensure that our offerings meet customer needs, remain competitive in the market, and support strong business performance across AddSecure markets.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical capability, and excellent communication skills. You need to be able to create alignment, explain priorities and trade-offs clearly, and build trust across teams and stakeholders.

You will be part of the leadership team and report to the Chief Product Officer of the Smart Alarms Business Unit.

You will:

• Lead, coach, and support a team of Product Managers

• Drive the strategy, priorities, and business performance of an assigned portfolio across markets

• Own the lifecycle management of offerings within alarm transceivers, transmission services, and user experience

• Define, anchor, and communicate portfolio strategy

• Identify market opportunities and translate customer needs into competitive products and services

• Work closely with R&D on requirement handling, prioritisation, and backlog management

• Define, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps

• Set price levels and support product positioning

• Work closely with Sales to understand market needs and support commercial success

• Provide Marketing with value propositions and content that strengthen the offering

• Help improve ways of working within the product area

• Ensure product data is in place to support an effective order-to-invoice flow

• Build strong relationships across markets, functions, partners, and customers

Who you are

You are an experienced and confident leader who combines strong people leadership with an analytical and commercial mindset. You enjoy turning market insight, customer needs, and business performance into clear priorities and concrete actions.

You are comfortable navigating complexity, making tough prioritisation decisions, and balancing customer value, commercial potential, and technical feasibility. You are also a strong communicator who can create alignment, build trust, and engage stakeholders across the organisation.

We believe you bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in product management

• At least 3 years of experience in line management

• Experience leading product portfolios in a technical environment

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn market insight, customer needs, and business performance into clear priorities

• A strong ability to translate market requirements into products and service offerings

• Experience working closely with software and hardware development teams

• A commercial mindset and a good understanding of business models and customer segmentation

• Experience with agile product management and development methodologies

• Good technical understanding of areas such as hardware, IT, IoT, and telecom

• The ability to lead through others, build trust quickly, and create alignment across teams and stakeholders

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams, countries, and functions

• Fluency in Swedish and English, spoken and written

• A Technical Master’s degree
