About the job

The scheduler will be responsible for planning work for our team of 20 field based engineers, and 3rd party engineers, whilst ensuring maximum efficiencies. 

In addition, the Scheduler will be required to:

• Work closely with our planning software to arrange engineer visits with our clients via telephone, e-mail, or other forms of communication.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that high standards of service delivery are provided to our customers.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure our field based engineers have the required equipment for the arranged visit.
• To provide cover for other team members during holiday and periods of sickness.
• Report and escalate where necessary any reported issues to ensure quick and effective resolution.
• Any other task within the remit of the role that may be deemed necessary from time to time.

About you

The successful candidate will have outstanding organisational and time management skills and be an excellent communicator. You will be self-motivated with a drive to improve customer satisfaction. You are an agile person, a driving force with that "can-do-attitude". You are flexible and can handle several ongoing projects simultaneously. You enjoy collaborating with others to achieve common goals.

You will also:

• Have previous experience in a customer service based environment. 
• Experience in scheduling engineers would be preferable but not essential
• Self motivated and capable of operating with minimal supervision
• Ability to build good customer relationships
• Good geographical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Self motivated and capable of operating with minimal supervision.
• Ability to successfully interact with various departments and personnel in potentially stressful situations.
• Computer literate & minimum 1 year experience of Salesforce would be preferable, but not essential.
• A strong team worker who is co-operative, conscientious and target driven
