About the job
The distribution centre operative will be required to support the Logistics Supervisor and Logistics Manager with daily duties, and ensuring tasks are completed to the AddSecure high standard.
They will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks within the distribution centre to ensure smooth running of operations. These tasks include:
- Ensuring Goods In is processed (Daily) and items received correctly and accurately against Purchase Orders.
- Monitoring field returns and RMA, ensuring these are processed in accordance with instruction and the designated processes.
- Assisting with Picking / Packing as required and offer support with training of other team members ensuring all training is accurate and understood
- Maintaining excellent Quality Control processes through all tasks undertaken, self checking all despatches and also offering guidance to other team members.
- Ensuring all goods leaving the Distribution Centre have the correct paperwork, all items despatched and accounted for, raising any issues to line management immediately.
- Programming, Testing, RMA, Stock control and management, Auditing and Goods receipt and despatch
About you
You are organised and logical with excellent attention to detail. You will need to be comfortable with IT, and it would be preferable if you had an understanding of ERP systems, but not essential. You will also be numerate with the ability to maintain accurate records.
The successful candidate will be comfortable with multi-tasking and supporting other team members when needed. They will be able to communicate effectively with all team members and peers.
