About the job

The Product Owner will report to the Product Management Team Leader and will be responsible for product planning and delivery. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Owner’s job also includes ensuring that the products support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

The Product Owner will:

• Be the product lead for one or more products (e.g. camera, temperature, fleet, tms)
• Own full requirements life cycle (from roadmap to user story).
• Write detailed backlog items / user stories that define what the development team should produce.
• Manage and prioritise the backlog. Manage what features and bugs should be in what release.
• Lead agile product workshops including requirement gathering, refinement, estimating and retrospectives.
• Collate and evaluate product feedback. Participate in service reviews for key customers.
• Product demonstrations. Able to deliver product demonstrations to both internal staff and customers.
• Stakeholder engagement. Engage with stakeholders on inbound product requirements and outbound deliverables.
• Coordinate cross functional teams and challenge the team on delivery speed and quality of the work.
• Articulate and communicate product vision & roadmap.
• Conduct regular customer, market and competitor insights

About you

The ideal candidate will be solution-driven with excellent organisational and analytical skills. You have a strategic mindset and can handle several ongoing projects simultaneously. You enjoy collaborating with others to achieve common goals.

In addition, you will have:

• Product management experience within a SAAS solution.
• Experience setting and iterating on the product strategy.
• Experience prioritizing workload to meet business, customer and team objectives.
• Experience working within an agile delivery methodology.
• Ability to understand, simplify and document complex business flows and present them.
• Customer / client facing experience
• Experience managing projects
• Good interpersonal skills.

Location:

This is a hybrid working role, you will be required to travel to the office in Northampton on a regular basis. You must be eligible to work in the UK.
